Exporting Reporting Definitions

To export an existing reporting definition The top-level object from which reports are run. to a portable report definition file in the Salesforce Files Library:

1. Click the Reporting Definitions tab.
2. Select the reporting definition that you want to export.
3. Click Export.
4. [Optional] Edit the name of the portable definition.
5. [Optional] Choose to include all reporting objects in the export by selecting the corresponding checkbox.
6. [Optional] Choose to include all reporting filters in the export by selecting the corresponding checkbox.
7. Click Save to save the new portable report definition file.

To save the reporting definition file to your hard drive, download it from the Files Library. See the Salesforce Help for more information.
