Send Plans to Analytics

Extended Planning and Analysis enables you to send plans to Analytics to create or update datasets with data in your plans. This can be useful if you want to:

• Build dashboards and lenses in Analytics from the data in your plans.
• Use existing plans to create new plans. For example, you might want to use this year's budget as the basis for next year's budget.
• Archive plans that are no longer being worked on. You can send your plans to Analytics and then delete them from Extended Planning and Analysis.

Note:

When using datasources with xPNA, additional dimensions are automatically added to the data after clicking Send to Analytics. Due to this automatic inclusion, the default xPNA dimensions are not available for manual selection during the mapping process, preventing the duplication of these fields when sending data to Analytics.
