Marking a Plan Scenario as Default
If you have read and write access to a plan, you can mark a scenario as the default scenario for the plan. This scenario is used in calculations that reference the plan without specifying a scenario.
Every plan is created with a single scenario named Initial. As you create and build up additional scenarios, the initial scenario might no longer be the main scenario. In that case, you can mark another scenario as the default scenario for the plan.
To mark a scenario as default:
- Open the plan that contains the scenario you want to mark as default.
- In the plan table, click Manage Scenarios. The existing scenarios are displayed.
- In the Default column, next to the scenario that is currently marked as default, deselect the checkbox.
- In the Default column, next to the scenario that you want to mark as default, select the checkbox.
- Click Save. The plan table reloads to display the default scenario.
Any calculations that reference the plan without specifying a scenario are automatically recalculated. In addition, the Default Scenario field on the plan record updates automatically.
