Time Entry Lightning Component Fields

Here is a description of the fields on the PSA Time Entry Lightning component.

Some of these fields may not be visible or editable at all times, or in all package combinations.

Key:

AR – Available when the Time Entry component is in a read-only state.

N - Available when the Time Entry component is in the Timecard Notes view.

R – Read-only

Field		Description
Assignment		The project assignment to enter time against.
Day	R	The days in the selected week.
Days	R	The days of the timecard.
End Time		The end time entered on the timecard.
Hours		The hours for each day of the timecard.
Location	N	The location for each day of the timecard.
Milestone		The project milestone to enter time against.
Notes	N	Daily or weekly notes for the timecard.
Project		The project to enter time against.
Project Task		The project task to enter time against.
Start Time		The start time entered on the time card.
Status	AR	The current status of the timecard: Approved Rejected Saved Submitted
Timecard Logged in Days		The mode used to enter time on timecards.
Travel	N	If selected, indicates the day's hours, including travel time.

Buttons

These are the buttons on the PSA Time Entry Lightning component when it is in a read-only state.

PSA Time Entry Lightning Component Buttons in Read-Only State

Button	Description
Copy All	Copies timecards from the week displayed.
	Select a date for a timecard in Time Entry.
Hours	The selected view mode for timecards.
Days
New	Create a new timecard.
Save All	Saves all unsaved timecards in the week displayed.
Save and New	Saves the time entry and creates a new time entry.
Submit All	Submit all saved timecards in the week displayed.

These are the buttons on the PSA Time Entry Lightning component when it is in an editable state.

Button	Description
Cancel	Discard unsaved changes.
Hours or DaysFilter	The selected view mode for timecards.
Delete	Deletes the saved timecard.
Recall	Return the timecard's status from Submitted to Saved.
Save	Save the timecard.
Submit	Submit the timecard for approval.

Tabs

These are the tabs on the PSA Time Entry Lightning component.

Tabs	Description
Summary	Use this tab to enter your hours against each day in the hours fields.
Tasks	Use this tab to enter time against specific tasks. Note: Your administrator must configure your org to use Project Tasks.
Notes	Display Travel, Location, and Notes fields where you can enter daily or weekly notes and select a location.
