Security predicates in PS Cloud Core Analytics ensure that only the authorized users can access specific data, by:
- Restricting users to only view the project and opportunity data shared with them in the Backlog, Billings, and Project Reporting datasets
- Restricting resources to view only their own skills and utilization data
- Restricting managers to view only their own skills and utilization data and the skills and utilization data of resources below them in their respective hierarchies
- Allowing selected users to view and edit specific revenue forecast records
You can also provide selected users with unrestricted access to the skills and utilization data of all resources. For more information, see Permission Control Fields.

Security Predicate for Object Sharing
The security predicate for object sharing allows users to view only the data from projects that are shared with them in the Backlog, Billings, and Project Reporting datasets, and their associated dashboards. Security Predicate for the Resource Skills Dataset
The security predicate for resource skills allows resources to view only their own skills. It also allows resource managers to view only their own skills and the skills of resources below them in their respective management hierarchy. This applies to the Resource Skills dataset in PS Cloud Core Analytics and the PSA Skills Capacity and Demand Planning dashboard in PS Cloud Advanced Analytics. You must assign a manager to at least one Salesforce user record to enable the security predicate for resource skills.

Security Predicate for the Revenue Forecast Dataset
The security predicate for revenue forecasting works in conjunction with permission controls from PSA to allow users to view data in the:
- Revenue Forecast dataset in PS Cloud Core Analytics
- PSA Revenue Forecast dashboard in PS Cloud Core Analytics
- PSA Revenue Forecast Summary dashboard in PS Cloud Advanced Analytics

Security Predicate for the Utilization Results Dataset
The security predicate for utilization determines whether users can view only their own utilization data, or if managers can view the utilization data of resources below them in:
- Their respective role hierarchy
- Their respective management hierarchy
- Their respective hierarchy of reports
