Setting up WorkGrid

Installations are carried out by the Certinia Onboarding team. To install the WorkGrid package, contact your Customer Support representative.

The September 2025 release of WorkGrid does not require any other Certinia packages to be installed.

Post-Install Steps

If you have permissions to do so, follow the steps described in this section to set up and configure WorkGrid.

Note:

The section outlines the steps for a first installation of WorkGrid. If you are upgrading from a previous version, see Upgrading to WorkGrid September 2025.

To perform the steps, you must be assigned the System Administrator profile and the CRM Analytics Platform Admin permission set. To complete the tasks, follow the steps and refer to the related Help pages.

Assign the CRM Analytics Platform User permission set to users who need to:

  • Create data sources.
  • Send plans to Analytics.
Note:

This is a standard Salesforce permission set that automatically provides access to the Analytics Platform permission set license.

4 Assign the WorkGrid permission sets to the relevant users. Permission Sets and Other Technical Documentation
5 [Optional] Display the related plan directly on an object's record page.
6 [Optional] Customize the Adjustments Reason global picklist value set. This determines the reasons available when making a plan cell adjustment.

Initial Data Setup

After you have completed the post-install steps, perform the following steps to ensure that your users can create plans.
