Adopting Lightning in Customer Quotations

This page outlines the steps required to start using customer quotations in Lightning. For more information about the Customer Quotation Lines grid, see OIM Advanced Quoting - Customer Quotation Lines Grid Lightning Component Fields.

Note:

This only applies if you are upgrading from a version of Advanced Quoting previous to Winter 2023.

  1. At org level, your administrator must ensure that the following required fields are displayed in the CQ Item Field Set and the CQ Inventory Lines field sets available in the Customer Quotation Line object:

    • Item to Quote
    • Item Quote Description
    • Quantity
  2. From the Visualforce page vfLoadCustomerQuotationLinePage in Classic, each relevant user must ensure that the Item Number field is displayed under the Display Fields in Order column in the User Preference window. This only applies for users with previous user preference configurations. This step must be followed for customer quotations of type Drop-Ship and Inventory.
