Work Event Calendar Fields and Buttons

These are the fields and buttons on the Work Event Calendar.

Calendar Information Fields

These are the checkboxes shown on the left side of the calendar, under the monthly calendar. There is one standard field that is always displayed. The visibility of the other fields depends on the external calendar used.

Project-Only Work Events A checkbox that enables you to display only the work events that are on the current project for the selected contacts. Selected
Contact Busy Times [Google] A checkbox that enables you to display the unavailable times of the selected contacts from their calendars. Selected
Free [Outlook] A checkbox that enables you to display events for the selected contacts with a "Free" status. Selected
Tentative [Outlook] A checkbox that enables you to display events for the selected contacts with a "Tentative" status. Selected
Busy [Outlook] A checkbox that enables you to display events for the selected contacts with a "Busy" status. Selected
Away [Outlook] A checkbox that enables you to display when the selected contacts are not working. Selected
Working Elsewhere [Outlook] A checkbox that enables you to display when the selected contacts are working away from their normal place of work. Selected
Note:

The Outlook checkboxes are in a hierarchy, from Free (least important) to Working Elsewhere (most important). If you select more than one checkbox, the more important information is displayed on top of the next least important information in the calendar.

Example:

You have selected the Free and Tentative checkboxes and there is a free time slot of one hour, 10.00-11.00 and a tentative time slot of 10.30-12.00. Only the 10.00-10.30 part of the free time slot is visible because the more important 10.30-12.00 tentative time slot is shown on top of the free time. If you then deselect the Tentative checkbox, the whole 10.00-11.00 free time slot is revealed.

Refreshes the calendars Refreshes the calendars to view the latest information.
Today Highlights the current day in the calendar.
Opens the filters panel Opens the Filters panel. Deselected
Period Selector

You can select the following calendar periods:

  • Day: Shows the calendar for the selected day.
  • Week: Shows the calendar for a seven-day week. The current or selected day is highlighted.

Previous period Next period

Depending on what is selected in the period selector:

Previous period Displays the previous day or week in the calendars.

Next period Displays the next day or week in the calendars.

Filters Panel Fields

Field Description Default Value
Date This date is displayed in the center of each calendar. Current date.
Resources

The resources who are displayed in the calendars:

  • In the Resource Calendars view, you can select up to 10 resources.
  • In the Combined Calendar view, you can select up to 100 resources.

On a project record: All resources who have assignments on the project.

On any other record, app or Home page: Signed-in users.
