Configuring the PSA Resource Summary Configuration
You can configure the prompt used to generate resource summaries by managing the parameters that determine the specific fields and related list records that are referenced by the summary.
Setting Up AI Prompt Configuration Builder
Prompt configurations are managed in the AI Prompt Configuration Builder. Follow the steps below for setting up the AI Prompt Configuration Builder.
Step 1: Installing the AI Core Package
AI Prompt Configuration Builder is included in the AI Core package which must be installed in your org. Installations are carried out by the Certinia Onboarding team. To install the AI Core package, contact your Customer Support representative.
Step 2: Assigning the Permission Set
Assign the Certinia AI Prompt Builder Configuration permissions to users you want to configure the prompt used to generate resource summaries.
Configuring PSA Resource Summary Configurations
To configure the PSA Resource Summary Configuration:

From the App Launcher, navigate to AI Prompt Configuration Builder. Then, do one of the following:
- To clone the existing PSA Resource Summary Configuration:
- From the Certinia Configurations list, select PSA Resource Summary Configuration.
- Click Clone. The Clone Configuration window opens.
- [Optional] Edit the configuration label.
- Ensure that the API Name is "PSAResourceSummaryConfiguration".
- Click Save. The cloned configuration opens in the main window.
- To create a new configuration:
- Click New. The New Configuration window opens.
- Enter a label for your new configuration.
- Ensure that the API Name is "PSAResourceSummaryConfiguration".
- Click Save. The new configuration opens in the main window.
- In the Templatized Prompt field, select "PSA Resource Summary Prompt".

To manage the parameters, do the following:
- In the Fields to Summarize field of the relevant parameter, search for and select the fields of the predefined related list that you want the resource summary to reference. To remove preselected fields that you don't want the resource summary to reference, click
next to the field. - To filter the records that you want the resource summary to reference, click Add Filter. The Add Filter window opens.
- Select the field that you want to filter records by. Currently, you can only filter records by their date fields.
- Select an operator for the filter.
- Select a value for the filter. If you select a value that contains an N variable, the Where N Equals field displays. Enter the value you want to replace the N.
- Click Save to save the filter.
- In the Fields to Summarize field of the relevant parameter, search for and select the fields of the predefined related list that you want the resource summary to reference. To remove preselected fields that you don't want the resource summary to reference, click
- When all of your parameters are updated, click Save to save your configuration.
To delete a saved filter:
- On the filter you want to delete, click Edit Filter. The Edit Filter window opens.
- Click
. - Click Save to save your change.
- Click Save to save your configuration.
