PSA Resource AI Summaries Overview

Resource AI summaries enable you to leverage the power of Certinia AI by generating summaries of resources that include their recent project experience and the key skills they used while working on those projects. Providing only the relevant information reduces the time you spend manually evaluating your resources and provides a clear description of the resource that other stakeholders can review.

AI summaries for resources can be viewed from the Resource Details panel of the Resourcing tab on resource requests.

You can configure the prompt used to generate resource summaries by managing the parameters that determine the specific fields and related list records that are referenced by the summary. The resource summary has the following parameters:

  • Related Resource Request Fields, which enables you to select the fields and filter the records of the Resource Request related list that you want to include in the resource summary.
  • Related Skill or Certifications Ratings Fields, which enables you to select the fields and filter the records of the Skill or Certification Ratings related list that you want to include in the resource summary.
  • Related Resource Skill Request Fields to Prioritize, which enables you to select the fields and filter the records of the Resource Skill Request related list you want to be prioritized in the resource summary.

To generate AI summaries for resources, you must:

  • Use resource requests to allocate work
  • Use resource skill requests to request skills on resource requests
  • Create, and regularly update, skill or certification records for resources

A summary is generated if a resource has previously been assigned to at least one resource request. The generated summary contains:

  • An overview of the resource, which highlights:
    • Their length of service. Only length of service longer than six months is included in the summary.
    • The practice they are assigned to.
    • The characteristics that make them suitable for assignment to the current resource request.
  • Details of the 10 most recent resource requests with more than 100 requested hours that the resource has been assigned to. The details include:
    • The account name
    • The project name
    • The resource's role
    • The skills used
  • A list of the resource's 10 most recently updated key skills. Only skills updated in the last 12 months are included in the summary.
