Requirement Sets, Requirements, and Responses Overview

A scoping requirement can be any of the following:

  • A question
  • A statement
  • A prompt

An administrator defines these requirements and creates the responses that estimators can select when completing the scoping session. These requirements are grouped together to form requirement sets, and each requirement will have predefined responses attached to them.

The responses on requirements can be multiple choice or custom responses. Administrators configure the requirement with the relevant responses. Custom responses are text fields that estimators populate when completing a scoping session.

If a requirement set is active, it is displayed in a scoping session when you add the related estimate product.

When you clone an active scoping requirement set, the cloned version is not active by default. You must manually mark it as active.
