Completing and Summarizing Playbooks

This feature is part of the Certinia Early Adopter Program. This program is only available to a limited number of customers.

You can generate a summary and mark a playbook and its related tasks as complete in one process using the Complete and Summarise Playbook action available on playbook record pages. When you complete the process, a CS activity record with the CS Summary type is created with the playbook summary saved in the Notes field.

To do this:

1. Go to the playbook record page Actions panel and click Complete and Summarize Playbook.
2. [Optional] Select the Mark Playbook and Tasks as Completed checkbox to mark the playbook and all of its related playbook tasks as complete. This selects the Completed checkbox on the playbook and playbook task records.
3. [Optional] Update the name of the summary.
4. [Optional] Update the playbook summary.
5. Click Save.

Note: A CS activity record with the CS Summary type is created when you click Save. The summary is contained in the Notes field on the CS activity record.
