Playbook Task Manager Lightning Component Fields

The table below shows the columns displayed in the Playbook Task Manager component.

Columns

Columns in the Playbook Task Manager Component
Column Name   Description
Pinned   A personal reminder that the playbook task requires further attention.
Flagged   A reminder to all users that the playbook task requires attention.
Order R The completion order of the playbook task.
Playbook Task Name   The name of the playbook task.
Resources   The resources associated with the playbook task.
Status   The current status of the task. Playbook tasks with no status are not displayed in the Playbook Task Manager's Task Board view.
Duration in Days   The number of days between the playbook task's start and completion. Updating this value automatically extends or reduces the end date. This column is displayed only when both the Start Date and End Date fields are displayed in the Playbook Task Manager.
Start Date   The start date of the task. Changing this date recalculates the playbook task's duration in days.
Note:

If this field is blank, it can be automatically populated with the current date on playbook task completion. You can enable this feature using the Auto-Fill Task Start and End Dates field in the CS Cloud Settings custom setting. For more information, seeSetting up Automatic Population of Playbook and Playbook Task Dates.

End Date   The end date of the task. Changing this date recalculates the playbook task's duration in days.
Note:

If this field is blank, it can be automatically populated with the current date on playbook task completion. You can enable this feature using the Auto-Fill Task Start and End Dates field in the CS Cloud Settings custom setting. For more information, seeSetting up Automatic Population of Playbook and Playbook Task Dates.

Completed   If selected, the task is completed.

Buttons

Buttons in the Playbook Task Manager Component
Button Name Description
Refresh Refresh Refreshes the Playbook Task Manager to display any external changes.
Flag Tasks Flag Tasks Marks selected tasks as flagged.
Pin Tasks Pin Tasks Marks selected tasks as pinned. Pinning is not available in the calendar and scheduler views.
Add Tasks Add Tasks Opens the Create Tasks window enabling you to create a playbook task record.
Delete Tasks Delete Tasks Deletes selected tasks.
Preference Panel Preference Panel Opens and closes the Preferences panel enabling you to configure the board. This is only available when accessing the Playbook Task Manager from the Customer Success Management Workspace.
Filter Panel Filter Tasks Opens and closes the Filters panel enabling you to filter the tasks displayed.
Expand or Expand Expand Expands columns and swimlanes.
Collapse or Collapse Collapse Collapses columns and swimlanes.

Filter Buttons

Button Name Description
Apply Apply Updates the contents of the Playbook Task Board using the filter criteria specified.
Edit Edit Opens the Edit Filter Set window enabling you to edit the selected filter set name, sharing access, and select it as the default filter set.
Delete Delete Deletes the selected filter set.
Remove Default Remove Default Removes the current filter set from being the default filter set applied.
Reset Reset Returns the filter criteria to the default values.
Settings Settings Displays saving options for creating and editing filter sets.
Save Save Saves the current applied filters to the selected filter set.
Save As Save As Opens the New Filter Set window enabling you to create a new filter set with the current applied filters.
Set as Default Set as Default Sets the selected filter set as the default one for the logged in user.

Filter Fields

Field Description
Saved Filters Select the filter set you want to apply. For more information, see Filter Sets Overview.
Date Range

Select a time period to filter tasks. Available options are:

  • Next Seven Days
  • Last Seven Days
  • Current Month
  • Next Month
  • Last Month
  • Next Three Months
  • Last Three Months
  • Custom

Selecting the Custom filter option enables you to specify the start and end dates you want in the Filters panel.

Start Date The start date of the playbook task. This field is displayed only when you select Custom in the Date Range field.
End Date The end date of the playbook task. This field is displayed only when you select Custom in the Date Range field.
Include Tasks with No Start and End Date If selected, tasks with no associated start and end date display in the grid.
Customer Success Segment Search for and select one or more customer success segments to display in the tracker.
Product Search for and select one or more products you want to filter by.
CS Cloud Resource Search for and select one or more CS cloud resources to view their associated playbook tasks in Playbook Task Manager.
Resource Pool Search for and select one or more resource pools to view the playbook tasks associated with the resource pools' members in the Playbook Task Manager.
Playbook Search for and select one or more playbooks to view their associated playbook tasks in the Playbook Task Manager.
Account Search for and select one or more accounts to view their associated playbook tasks in the Playbook Task Manager.
Playbook Owner Search for and select one or more playbook owners. This is automatically populated with the current logged in user when there are no filters to apply from local storage. When you click Reset, the field is also populated with the current logged in user.
Status Search for and select one or more task statuses you want to filter by.
Flagged Specify if you want to filter by tasks marked as flagged. You can select No Preference to filter by all tasks regardless of their flagged status.
Success Plan Search for and select one or more success plans to view their associated playbook tasks in the Playbook Task Manager
Objective Search for and select one or more objectives to view their associated playbook tasks in the Playbook Task Manager

Preference Buttons

Apply Updates the contents of the Playbook Task Board using the preferences specified.
Reset Returns the preference criteria to the default values.

Update Selected Items Fields

Update Selected Items Fields in the Playbook Task Manager Component
Field Description
Update Selected Items If selected, the cell value of all selected tasks is updated.

Update Selected Items Buttons

Update Selected Items Buttons in the Playbook Task Manager Component
Button Description
Apply Updates the value for every selected task in that column.
Cancel Closes the update tasks window and does not apply any updates to any task values.
