Setting up Automatic Population of Playbook and Playbook Task Dates

Administrators can enable automatic population of the following fields with the current date and time when the record is marked as completed:

  • For playbook records: The Start Date and End Date fields
  • For playbook task records: The Start Date and Time and End Date and Time fields.

This automatic population only occurs if the fields are blank. It can be controlled using the following fields in the CS Cloud Settings custom setting:

  • Auto-Fill Playbook Start and End Dates
  • Auto-Fill Task Start and End Dates

This feature is disabled by default. Enabling this feature can help customer success managers to have complete and accurate record dates for historical reporting.
