Generating Plan Calculations Using AI Assistant

In the Formula Builder AI Assistant, you can enter a prompt describing the desired calculation logic, and it will generate the necessary formula.

Note:

To use the AI assistant, the following must be true:

  • The AI Core package must be installed in your org.
  • You must be assigned the Use the Formula Builder AI Assistant feature permission via a feature access rule.

To generate a plan calculation using the AI assistant:

  1. Navigate to the plan you want to create a calculation for.
  2. In the Formula Builder, select the cell you want to create a calculation in.
  3. Click AI Assistant.
  4. Enter a prompt. For example, Create a formula that adds the Actual Values for Jan 24 and Feb 24 for the Product Manager Fred Blogs.
  5. Click Comment.
  6. Enter the resulting formula in the Formula Builder and click Apply.
  7. Click Save.
