Update Plans with the Latest Data from Analytics

You can update a plan that was created from an Analytics dataset to get the latest changes from the dataset. This can be useful if the dataset was updated with newer data that you want to bring into your plan.

You can update plans from Analytics in several ways:

• Update a plan scenario using its saved default filters and mappings, without stepping through any configuration. For more information, see Updating a Plan Scenario with the Latest Data from Analytics Using Saved Defaults.
• Customize the dataset filters, measure filters, and dimension value mappings before updating a single plan scenario. For more information, see Updating a Plan Scenario with the Latest Data from Analytics Using Advanced Mode.
• Update the default scenario for multiple plans at the same time. For more information, see Updating Multiple Plans with the Latest Data from Analytics.
• Schedule updating the default scenario for multiple plans so that it runs automatically. For more information, see Updating Multiple Plans with the Latest Data from Analytics.

Note:

You can only update a plan from Analytics that was created from a data source. This includes plans created from a template. You cannot update plans that were created as blank plans.
