Project Task Summary Overview
The Project Task summary enables you to leverage the power of Certinia AI by generating a summary of project tasks, which includes an overview of your project tasks and areas requiring attention. Providing only the relevant information reduces the time you spend manually evaluating your project tasks in Gantt, and provides a clear overview that other stakeholders can review. You can generate and view a summary for your project tasks via the project record, in the Project Plan tab.
Generating a Project Task summary for your project tasks includes the following sections.
Overview
The Project Task summary includes an Overview section. This section provides a snapshot of the number of project tasks contained in your project, and the number of tasks completed to date. The overview section also provides a task completion percentage, and the themes most covered by your project tasks.
Nearing Completion
The Project Task summary includes a Nearing Completion section. This section provides a summary of the project tasks nearing completion, and links to the project task record pages.
Overdue
The Project Task summary includes an Overdue section. This section alerts you to a list of project tasks which are overdue and require attention. This section also links to the project task record pages.
Requires Attention
The Project Task summary includes a Requires Attention section. This section alerts you to how many project tasks are currently blocked, and provides a list of up to five blocked project tasks, with links to the project task record pages. This section also provides an overview of what actions can be taken to resolve the blockages. The Requires Attention section looks at the number of Project Task Assignments (PTAs) specifically to assess if project tasks are staffed accordingly.
Next Steps
The Project Task summary includes a Next Steps section. This section provides an overview of the project tasks that require the most attention, and provides recommendations for which tasks to prioritize, based on their status.
