Skills Management Fields

The Skills Management Lightning app page includes the following fields and buttons.

Mass Manage Resource Skills Fields

The Mass Manage Resource Skills grid includes the following fields.

Fields in the Mass Manage Resource Skills Grid
Field	Description
Full Name	The name of the resource.
Resource Role	The resource's role.
Account ID	The account that relates to the resource.
Email	The email address of the resource.
Region	The region that relates to the resource.
Practice	The practice that relates to the resource.
Group	The group that relates to the resource.
Skills and Certifications	The last five updated skills and certifications of the resource.

The Mass Manage Resource Skills grid includes the following buttons.

Button	Description
Apply Skills	Opens the Add Skills and Certifications window to add skills to the selected resources.
Delete Skills	Opens the Delete Skills window to remove skills from the selected resources.
\| View Skills	Opens the Skills and Certifications window to view the skills and certifications associated with the resource.
	Opens the filters panel to apply criteria to filter resources by.

The Add Skills and Certifications window includes the following fields.

Fields in the Add Skills and Certifications Window

Select Skills and Certifications	Skill or Certification		The name of the skill or certification.
Manage Selected Skills and Certifications	Skill or Certification Name	R	The name of the skill or certification.
Select Skills and Certifications Manage Selected Skills and Certifications	Record Type Name	R	The name of the record type for the skill.
Manage Selected Skills and Certifications	Rating		The level of exposure or ability that the resource has for the skill or certification.
	Expiration Date		The date that the skill or certification rating expires.
	Evaluation Date		The date that the skill or certification rating was evaluated.

The Delete Skills window includes the following fields.

Skill or Certification Name	The name of the skill or certification.
Type	The type of the skill.
Record Type Name	The name of the record type for the skill.

The Skills and Certifications window includes the following fields.

Skill or Certification	The name of the skill or certification.
Rating	The level of exposure or ability that the resource has for the skill or certification.
Record Type Name	The name of the record type for the skill.
Last Modified Date	The last date that the skill or certification rating was updated.

The following fields are available in the filters panel.

The following fields are available in the Skills and Certifications section.

Field	Description
Approval Status	The approval statuses that skill or certification ratings must have to be included in the resource matching process. The default value is influenced by the Skill or Cert Rating: Required Statuses field in the Resource Search Service Settings.
Expiration Date	Displayed only when the Include Expired Skills and Certifications field is deselected. Select a date and choose either Prior to or Later than, to determine the dates by which you want to exclude expired skills and certifications.
Include Aspirational Skills and Certifications	If selected, a resource's aspirational skills and certifications are included when matching resources. The default value is influenced by the Exclude Aspirational Skills and Certs field in the Resource Search Service Settings.
Include Expired Skills and Certifications	If selected, all expired skills and certifications are included when searching for resources. If deselected, a resource's expired skills and certifications are only included according to the dates you have specified in the Expiration Date field. The default value is influenced by the Exclude Expired Skills and Certs field in the Resource Search Service Settings.

The following fields are available in the Edit Skills and Certifications window.

Field	Description
Skill or Certification	Filter by the skill or certification that you select. Enter one or more characters in this field. The search is not case sensitive and the characters can appear anywhere in the search results. For example, if you enter ex, you obtain the following results: Apex ExtJS
Skill Set	Filter by the skill set that you select. Enter one or more characters in this field. The search is not case sensitive and the characters can appear anywhere in the search results.

The following buttons are available in the filters panel.

Apply	Updates the list of resources using the filter criteria specified.
Clear	Clears all filter criteria values.

The following buttons are available in the Skills and Certifications section.

Button	Description
All Skills and Certifications	Returns resources that match all of the selected skills at the minimum rating specified.
All Essential Skills and Certifications	Returns resources that match all the selected essential skills at the minimum rating specified. Notes: You must have more than one essential skill to see this field. Your administrator must select the Enable Desirable Skills checkbox on the Skills Management custom setting. For more information, see Skills Management Settings.
Any Skill or Certification	Returns resources that match at least one of the selected skills at the minimum rating specified.
Any Essential Skill or Certification	Returns resources that match at least one of the selected essential skills at the minimum rating specified. Notes: You must have more than one essential skill to see this field. Your administrator must select the Enable Desirable Skills checkbox on the Skills Management custom setting. For more information, see Skills Management Settings.
Edit	Opens the Edit Skills and Certifications window for you to edit the filters.

The following buttons are available in the Edit Skills and Certifications window.

All Skills and Certifications	Returns resources that match all of the selected skills at the minimum rating specified.

\|Remove	Removes the skill from the grid.
\|Remove Skill Set	Removes the skill set.
Cancel	Closes the Edit Skills and Certifications window.
Apply	Updates the edited filters.
	Removes the skills or certifications selected.
