Enabling Services Forecasting May 2026 Upgrade

This Feature Console page provides a streamlined way of upgrading Services Forecasting from Spring 2026 to May 2026.

Work through the steps in the order shown:

  • For each automatic step, click Perform. When the step has completed, the Status changes from "Not Done" to "Done".
  • When you have completed all the steps, use the Status slider in the Feature section to enable the feature.
Note:

Existing plans created from previous versions of plan templates won't be updated when you enable this Feature Console.

Feature Steps

1 Automatic Create a unit of measure named Percentage. If a unit of measure named Percentage already exists, update its fields to the required values.

This creates a unit of measure with the following data:

  • Unit of Measure Name: Percentage
  • Code: pct
  • Unit Type: Relative
  • Symbol Suffix: %
  • Decimal Precision: 2.
Note:
  • Units of measure whose Unit Type field is defined as Currency display the org's currency code. For example: USD 29,072.00

  • Units of measure whose Unit Type field is defined as any other value display one of the following, in this order of priority:

    • The symbol prefix, if it has a value. For example: #250.
    • The symbol suffix, if the symbol prefix is blank. For example: 29,07%.
    • The code, if both the symbol prefix and suffix are blank.

2 Automatic Create a forecast template named Group Forecast. This creates a plan template named Group Forecast. Services Forecasting Templates
3 Automatic

Update the Project Forecast (Embeddable) and Project Forecast (Multi-Plan Process) templates. Add the following KPI summary cards:

  • Expected Total Cost (EAC)
  • Expected Total Margin (%)
  • Expected Total Revenue (EAC)
  • Forecast Cost (ETC)
  • Forecast Revenue (ETC)

Create the following feature access rules:

  • Project Manager Feature Permissions
  • Services Leader Feature Permissions

This creates feature access rules with the following names:

  • Project Manager Feature Permissions
  • Services Leader Feature Permissions
