Enabling Forecast History

The forecast history feature uses standard Salesforce field history tracking. For the forecast history feature to work properly, you must perform the following steps:

1. Enable field history tracking for the Plan object.

2. Enable history tracking for the following fields on the Plan object:

   • Default Scenario
   • Locked
3. Enable field history tracking for the Plan Scenario object.

4. Enable history tracking for the following fields on the Plan Scenario object:

   • Plan Scenario Name
   • Locked
   Warning:

   History tracking must only be enabled for the Plan Scenario Name and Locked fields. If you enable it for other fields on the Plan Scenario object, the feature does not work properly.
