Plan Fields

The Plan object includes the following fields.

For the scenario history feature to work properly, field history tracking must be enabled for the Plan object. In addition, the Default Scenario and Locked fields must have history tracking enabled. If you disable history tracking for those fields, the feature does not work properly. For more information about the feature, see Scenario and Cell History and Enabling Scenario History. For more information about field history tracking, see the Salesforce Help.

Plan Fields
Field		Description
Category		The custom category that the plan belongs to. Note: By default, the picklist is empty. You can configure the picklist values according to your business needs.
Dataset Filters		For system use. Stores the dataset filters used when updating the plan from Analytics.
Default Unit		The default unit for the plan. This is applied to plan cells whose measure isn't linked to a unit. Note: You cannot change the default unit for a plan once it has been set.
Default Scenario		The default scenario of the plan. This scenario is displayed by default when you open the plan.
Delete Obsolete Plan Data		If selected, when you run Update from Analytics, the process overwrites plan data to match the Analytics dataset and deletes obsolete dimensions, measures, and cell values. Adjustments and comments linked to the deleted cells are also removed.
Description		The description of the plan.
Dimension 1 - 12		The first to the twelfth dimension that is used in this plan. The Dimension 1 field is mandatory.
Dimension Value Mappings		For system use. Stores the dataset dimension value mappings used when updating the plan from Analytics.
Input Data Source		The data source that was used to create the plan and is used to updated the plan from Analytics.
Label		The custom label applied to the plan. Note: By default, the picklist is empty. You can configure the picklist values according to your business needs.
Last Send Date		The date and time when the plan was last sent to Analytics.
Locked		If selected, the plan and all its scenarios are locked and cannot be edited. Note: You can use this field in your custom approval processes.
Locking Job		For system use. The asynchronous plan job that is processing the plan.
Measure 1 - 6		The first to the sixth measure that is used in this plan. The Measure 1 field is mandatory.
Output Data Source		The data source used to send the plan to Analytics.
Plan Name	*	The name of the plan.
Rate Table		The rate table linked to the plan.
Sub-category		The custom sub-category that the plan belongs to. Note: By default, the picklist is empty. You can configure the picklist values according to your business needs.
UX State		For system use.
Value		For system use.
Visualization Settings		For system use.

Lightning Actions and Buttons

The Plan object includes the following Lightning actions and list buttons. For a description of the buttons included in the plan table, see Plan Table Reference.

Action	Description	Displayed on the Plan Lightning Page
Clone Plan	Creates a copy of the plan and its scenarios. For more information, see Cloning a Plan. Note: This replaces the standard Salesforce Clone record button.	Always displayed.
Delete Plan	Deletes the plan record. For more information, see Deleting a Single Plan. Note: This replaces the standard Salesforce Delete record button.	Always displayed.
Export as XLSX	Exports the currently visible plan table to an XLSX file. For more information, see Importing and Exporting Plans.	Always displayed.
Import from XLSX	Import the data from an XLSX file into the current scenario. For more information, see Importing and Exporting Plans.	Displayed when the Locked field on the plan record is deselected.
Lock Plan	Locks an unlocked plan and all its scenarios so that they cannot be edited. For more information, see Locking a Plan.	Displayed when the Locked field on the plan record is deselected.
Send to Analytics	Sends the plan to an Analytics dataset. For more information, see Send Plans to Analytics and Sending a Single Plan to Analytics.	Always displayed.
Unlock Plan	Unlocks a locked plan so that it can be edited again. For more information, see Unlocking a Locked Plan.	Displayed when the Locked field on the plan record is selected.

List Buttons on the Plan Object
Button	Description
Delete Plans	Deletes the selected plans. For more information, see Deleting Multiple Plans.
Send to Analytics	Sends the selected plans to Analytics datasets. For more information, see Send Plans to Analytics and Sending Multiple Plans to Analytics.
