Adding Estimate Products to an Estimate

The Certinia Estimate Creation agent can add estimate products to an existing Services Estimator estimate from a conversation. The agent presents an approval card before creating any records, and if one estimate product cannot be added, the others are still created.

1. Open the estimate you want to add products to, then open an agent chat.
2. Ask the agent to add one or more estimate products to the estimate. Specify the estimate products by name.
3. The agent retrieves the matching estimate products and provides a summary of them. If a currency conversion is required, the agent notifies you of this before creating any records. Review the summary of the estimate products to be added and confirm.
4. Click Approve to add the estimate products, or click Reject to cancel.
5. The agent adds the estimate product instances and confirms the name and record ID of each one added. If the pricebook entry for a product is not active for the estimate product's currency, the agent notifies you of this after adding as an informational message.

Note:

You can only add estimate products that you would be able to add directly in Salesforce. The agent enforces your existing Services Estimator permissions. If the estimate is locked, the agent returns an error for that addition. Other estimate products in the same request are still added.
