Dismissing Work Suggestions

You can dismiss a work suggestion from:

• The Work Suggestion record page
• The Work Suggestions tab on account record pages

To dismiss several work suggestions in one operation, see Dismissing Work Suggestions in Bulk.

Dismiss a Work Suggestion from the Record Page

To dismiss a work suggestion from the record page:

1. Navigate to the Work Suggestion tab.
2. Click the name of the work suggestion you want to dismiss.
3. Click the Suggestion tab on the record page.
4. Click on the work suggestion card.
5. Select Dismiss.

6. In the Dismiss Work Suggestion window, select a Dismissal Reason from the following:

   1. Out of Scope
   2. Duplicate
   3. High Effort, Low Value
   4. Technical Constraint
   5. Not a Priority
   6. Other
7. [Optional] Enter additional details in the Dismissal Comment field.
8. Click Dismiss.

Dismiss a Work Suggestion from the Account Record Page

Ensure that your administrator has added the Work Suggestion component to the Account record page. To dismiss a work suggestion from the account record page:

1. Click the Work Suggestions tab.
2. Click on the work suggestion card.
3. Select Dismiss.

4. In the Dismiss Work Suggestion window, select a Dismissal Reason from the following:

   1. Out of Scope
   2. Duplicate
   3. High Effort, Low Value
   4. Technical Constraint
   5. Not a Priority
   6. Other
5. [Optional] Enter additional details in the Dismissal Comment field.
6. Click Dismiss.

Dismissing Work Suggestions in Bulk

To dismiss several work suggestions in one operation, use the Dismiss Work Suggestions action in a flow or an AI agent. The action applies one dismissal reason, and an optional dismissal comment, to every work suggestion that you pass to it. It dismisses up to 2,000 work suggestions at a time. Bulk dismissal skips suggestions that were previously accepted or dismissed and dismisses the remaining suggestions in the set. For more information, see Custom Actions.

Notes:

• The Work Suggestions tab on account record pages displays up to 50 new suggestions.
• Work suggestions with invalid data are not displayed in the Work Suggestions tab on account record pages. An alert shows the number of hidden suggestions. To resolve this, click the link in the alert to review the invalid records and contact your administrator.
