Estimate Pricing Method Fields

The Estimate Pricing Method record includes the following fields.

Fields on the Estimate Pricing Method object
Field   Description
Active   If selected, the estimate pricing method is active.
Apex Plugin Class Name   The name of the Apex plugin class that implements the pricing logic related to the estimate pricing method.
Description   Description of the estimate pricing method.
Pricing Approach *

The pricing approach that the estimate pricing method uses to calculate amounts. You can select one of the following options:

  • Roll Up
  • Spread Down

The default value is "Roll Up".
Selectable on Estimate Product Instance   If selected, the estimate pricing method is available for selection on estimate product instances.
Selectable on Independent Records   If selected, the estimate pricing method is available for selection on records that are independent of estimate products.
