Services Forecasting Rate Tables Overview
When you enable Services Forecasting using the Feature Console, the Fixed Currency Exchange Rates rate table is automatically created. Forecasts use this rate table to convert amounts between currencies.
The rate table contains a single exchange rate for each currency. The base unit represents your corporate currency, and every other rate is relative to it. You can edit the base unit if required.
The rate table is created using the latest dated exchange rates from Salesforce, applied to all time periods. This is different from the exchange rate used in PSA.
When forecast templates are generated using the Feature Console, they are automatically linked to the Fixed Currency Exchange Rates rate table. So, in most cases, you don't need to create an additional rate table.
The rates in the rate table can only be updated manually, either by editing the values directly or by importing an updated file. For more information, see Updating Exchange Rates for Services Forecasting.
For information about the fields on the rate table, see Rate Table Fields.
