Viewing the Services Forecasts Worksheets

Forecasts Worksheets show actuals, backlog, sales, and metrics across the Region, Practice, or Group (RPG) and project hierarchies. They can assist you in services forecasting by providing valuable contextual information.

Viewing Business Information

To view business information:

1. Click the Show Worksheet icon on a forecast row to show the worksheets, displaying totals for the RPGAbbreviation of region, practice, group. or project for the summary periodA time period, for example, a quarter, over which forecasts are entered for multiple entry periods on the Services Forecasts page. to date.
2. There are two categories of worksheet:
• The Owner Worksheet displays totals for the RPG or project.
• The Rolled-Up Worksheets display totals for the RPG or project and for contributing sub-RPGs and sub-projects.
3. Use the worksheets to review supporting information on the performance of your services business over the selected summary period. Worksheets are divided into sections showing actuals, backlog, sales forecast categories, and key business metrics.

Note

Rolled-Up Worksheets only display when the Owner Worksheet for that sub-RPG or sub-project has been viewed, either by the owner of the parent or child RPG, or a Project Manager.

If you cannot see a particular rolled-up worksheet, click the Show Worksheet icon on the forecast row of the contributing sub-RPG or sub-project and try again.

Viewing Audit History

To drill down to an audit history of transactions:

1. Click the Show Worksheet icon on a forecast row to show the worksheets, displaying totals for the RPG or Project to date.
2. Click a value to view a pop-up showing a record of transactions over the summary period.
