Creating Resource Demands from Project Task Gantt

Notes:

Your administrator can add this feature by enabling the Show "Create Resource Demand" Button setting.

You can set the default resource demand type in the Resource Demand Default setting.

After selecting a project to edit in Project Task Gantt, you can create the following:

Resource requests.

Held resource requests.

Assignments based on the duration, assigned resources and associated roles and milestones of the project tasksA unit of work or collection of work associated with a project. and project task assignments.

To create resource requests or assignments:

In Project Task Gantt, select the project for which you want to generate resource requests.

Do one of the following:

Click Create Resource Requests to create the default resource demand task.
Hover your cursor over the Create Resource Requests button to see the default resource demand task.
Click the down selector arrow adjacent to the Create Resource Requests button and select an option.

Complete the appropriate resource demand as described in the following table.
