Emailing Billing Documents

You can send a billing document by email if one contact associated with the account to which the billing document relates contains a valid email address and the Billing Contact checkbox is selected on that contact. For further information, see Setting up Document Email.

To send a billing document by email:

  1. Click Envelope Icon Email on the detail page of the billing document you want to send.
  2. Select the recipient of the email.
  3. Click Send.

Salesforce

To send a billing document by email:

  1. Click Email PDF on the detail page of the billing document you want to send.
  2. [Optional] To preview the billing document before sending it, click Preview Billing Document.
  3. Click Email Billing Document.
    Notes: Notes Notepad
    You can send a billing document to only one billing contact. If the account to which the billing address belongs contains more than one contact record with the Billing Contact checkbox selected, you are prompted to select the contact to send the email to.
    If the billing document is not complete, a draft watermark is added to the document to indicate that the billing document is in a draft state.
