Statistical Basis Fields

Here is a description of the elements on the Statistical Basis page.

Fields

Key: * – Mandatory field

Field			Description
Company			Company for the statistical basis, set at header level. This is useful if you want to store a number of statistical value records. You can enter the company details either here at header level or in the Company column on each line in the grid. You cannot enter the company details at both header and line level. You cannot change the company if you have already created lines in the statistical basis grid for that company. You must delete the lines before you can change the company.
Date			Date these statistical values were created (defaults to today's date). This date is for reference only. Allocations always use the most recent version of a statistical basis, regardless of the date entered in this field.
Description		255	Description of the statistical basis.
Period			Accounting period you want to retrieve data from for the selected company.
Statistical Basis Name	*	80	Unique name of the statistical basis.
Unit of Measure	*		Picklist: "People" or "Square Feet". You can type in a different unit of measure, if required.

To find specific entries in the grid, type in the Search field.

Field		Description
Company		Company for the statistical basis, set at line level. This is useful if you only want to store one statistical value record for your entire org. You can enter the company details either here at line level or in the Company field at header level. You cannot enter the company details at both header and line level.
General Ledger Account		GLA for the statistical basis. This column is hidden by default. To view it, click the down arrow in a dimension column heading and select Columns. You can then select the General Ledger Account column name. Local GLAs are not supported in statistical bases.
Dimension 1-4	*	Dimensions used in the statistical basis.
Total		Total of the values entered for all rows in the grid.
Value	*	Statistical value for the corresponding GLA or dimension.

The following fields are displayed in the Versions grid, which contains all previous versions of this statistical basis:

Field	Description
Author	Username of the person who created or last edited the statistical basis.
Date	Date this entry was saved in the Versions grid.
Description	Description of the statistical basis.
Statistical Basis Name	Name of the statistical basis. Click to view details of this version.
Version	Version number. Click to view details of this version.

Button	Description
Cancel	Cancels without saving.
Delete	Deletes the currently displayed statistical basis.
Edit	Edits the currently displayed statistical basis. When you save your changes, the previous details are saved in the Versions grid for reference and the new details become the most recent version that is used in any subsequent allocations.
Import CSV	Imports statistical values in bulk from a comma separated value file.
Most Recent Version	If you are viewing an older version of a statistical basis, this takes you back to the version that is currently being used for allocations.
Open	Enables you to attach files to this statistical basis and manage any files that are attached. You can attach up to 25 MB.
Save	Saves the current statistical basis details as the most recent version. If this button is not displayed, click Edit.
Statistical Bases List	Returns you to the Statistical Bases list view.
	Opens the related Accounting Help topic.
	Maximizes or restores the page in your browser window. We recommend that you maximize the Statistical Basis page to make it as easy as possible to see all the details.
