Setting up the System Administration Workspace

Installing the Workspace

In this release, the System Administration workspace is not currently part of the Certinia core product. Contact Certinia Onboarding to have the System Administration workspace package installed into your org.

Complete the following setup for your users to access the System Administration workspace:

  1. The FDN Workspaces - System Administration permission set provides access to the System Administration Workspace. Assign the permission set to the users that require access to the workspace.
  2. The workspace links to various parts of the product and is populated by the relevant records. To view the workspace correctly with populated data, you must ensure that your users have the necessary permissions to access the appropriate objects. Users with the Salesforce System Administration profile will have access to the objects required to view alerts and counts. To follow links in the Navigation pane, users might need access to additional objects.
  3. Manually add the System Administration Workspace tab to any apps. By adding this tab to the relevant apps you gain maximum benefit from the System Administration workspace, supporting your workflows, and reducing the time needed to access the information required in your role.
  4. Manually add the Workspaces - System Administration tab permission on the profiles that require access to the workspace.
