Upgrading to Revenue Management Winter 2024

This page describes the changes to make when upgrading to Winter 2024.

Enable the "Upgrade to Winter 2024" feature in the Feature Console. This updates the Recognition Template page layout to include a new Calculation Adjustment Type field. Upgrade to Winter 2024
[Optional] The Calculation Adjustment Type field is set to "None" on existing recognition templates. This means that the default behavior (retrospective adjustment) applies. You can update this field to "Retrospective" if you wish. For data integrity reasons, once you have changed it to "Retrospective" you cannot change it back to "None". Recognition Template Fields

Scheduling Automation Configurations

Upgrade Steps

If you are using Revenue Management with recognition schedules, you can now schedule automation configurations to run at regular cadences. To use this feature in Winter 2024, take the following action:

Schedule an automation configuration, which creates a process schedule record. The Next Due field on an active process schedule shows when it is next scheduled to run. Scheduling Automation Configurations

You must set up a scheduled job to run the process schedules. Depending on when you configure the scheduled job to run, there might be a delay before due process schedules run.
