Embedding PS Cloud Core Analytics Dashboards in a Lightning Page
Some of the dashboards within PS Cloud Core Analytics have been optimized to be embedded in any Lightning page or app as follows:

To embed the PSA Project Overview dashboard in Lightning we recommend you create a new tab in the Project Lightning Page layout:
- From Setup | Object Manager | Project | Lightning Record Pages, open the Project Lightning Page.
- Click Clone to create and open a copy of the Project Lightning Page in the editor.
- Select the details tab component, then click Add Tab to create a new details tab.
- Click the new details tab to edit it and change the tab label to custom.
- Name your custom label Project Overview.
- In the components panel, search for the CRM Analytics Dashboard.
- Drag and drop the CRM Analytics Dashboard component to the new tab.
- In the component properties, select "PSA Project Overview" from the Dashboard field.
- Set the height for this embedded dashboard. We recommend you use 400 pixels for this setting.
- Expand the Dashboard Filters section.
- Click Filter Builder, then click + Add Dashboard Filter.
- Select the Project Reporting dataset.
- Select the Project ID dataset field.
- Select the Equals operator.
- Select the Record ID object field, then click OK.

Repeat steps 12 - 15 two more times, making the following selections:
- Billings dataset at step 12
- Revenue Forecast dataset at step 12
You should now have three filters set.
- Deselect Show Share.
- Deselect Show Title.
- In Open Dashboard, select In Analytics Tab.
- Click OK.
To embed the PSA Project Billings dashboard in Lightning, we recommend you create a new tab in the Project Lightning Page layout:
- From Setup | Object Manager | Project | Lightning Record Pages, open the Project Lightning Page.
- Click Clone to create and open a copy of the Project Lightning Page in the editor.
- Select the details tab component, then click Add Tab to create a new details tab.
- Click the new details tab to edit it and change the tab label to custom.
- Name your custom label Project Billings.
- In the components panel, search for the CRM Analytics Dashboard.
- Drag and drop the CRM Analytics Dashboard component to the new tab.
- In the component properties, select PSA Project Billings from the Dashboard field.
- Set the height for this embedded dashboard. We recommend you use 800 pixels for this setting.
- Expand the Dashboard Filters section.
- Click Filter Builder, then click + Add Dashboard Filter.
- Select the Project Reporting dataset.
- Select the Project ID dataset field.
- Select the Equals operator.
- Select the Record ID object field, then click OK.
- Deselect Show Share.
- Deselect Show Title.
- In Open Dashboard, select In Analytics Tab.
- Click OK.
The following options are available to embed the PSA Revenue Forecast dashboard in the Revenue Forecasting Workspace.
Before running the configuration wizard to create the PSA Revenue Forecast dashboard and the Revenue Forecast dataset, you must carry out the following steps in the Revenue Forecasting Workspace:
- Create Revenue Forecast Version
- Recalculate Revenue Forecast

- From Setup, navigate to the Lightning App Builder.
- Navigate to the Revenue Forecasting Workspace.
- Click Clone to create and open a copy of the Revenue Forecasting Workspace in the editor.
- In the components panel, search for the CRM Analytics Dashboard.
- Drag and drop the CRM Analytics Dashboard component to the new tab.
- In the dashboard panel, navigate to the PSA Revenue Forecast dashboard.
Alternatively, you can embed the dashboard using the following steps:
- Navigate to the Revenue Forecasting Workspace from the App Launcher.
- Click Setup | Edit Page.
- Perform steps 4-6 described above to add the PSA Revenue Forecast dashboard to the page. This creates a version of the workspace with your changes applied to it.

To embed the PSA Utilization Analytics dashboard in the Resource Management Workspace:
- From Setup, navigate to the Lightning App Builder.
- Navigate to the Resource Management Workspace.
- Click Clone to create and open a copy of the Resource Management Workspace in the editor.
- In the components panel search for the CRM Analytics Dashboard.
- Drag and drop the CRM Analytics Dashboard component to the new tab.
- In the dashboard panel, navigate to your required dashboard.
Configuring the Dashboard Component
After the Analytics dashboard component is added to a new tab, you must customize the component to display your data.
- Select the CRM Analytics Dashboard to open its configuration panel.
- Search for and select the PSA Revenue Forecast dashboard to display.
- Set the height for this embedded dashboard. We recommend you use 1200 pixels for this setting.
- Select the Analytics Dashboard to open its configuration panel.
- Search for and select the PSA PSA Utilization Analytics dashboard to display.
- Set the height for this embedded dashboard. We recommend you use 1090 pixels for this setting.
Finally, we recommend you apply the following settings to the CRM Analytics Dashboard component:
- Deselect Show Share
- Deselect Show Title
- Select Open Links in New Window
- Select Hide on Error
- Select Disable open dashboard feature from the drop-down menu in Open Dashboard.
Saving and Activating Your Embedded Dashboard
To finish the embedding setup process, you must save and activate the Lightning Page:
- Click Save.
- Click Activate. You can now rename the copy of your app and select a different icon.
- Click Lightning Experience. From the duelling picklist, select the location in your org you want the app to appear.
- Click Save. You can now access your workspace and embedded app from your selected location.
Configuring Workspace Permissions
After creating your new workspace with your embedded dashboard, you must remove any permissions relating to the original workspace and then assign permission to the new workspace, using the appropriate permission sets.
