Linking Existing PSA and Jira Records
If you want to link PSA and Jira records that were created before you started using the PSA Direct for Jira, you must manually correlate them.
You also must manually correlate your PSA resources to Jira users.
To link a PSA resource to a Jira Server user, enter the username from Jira in the Jira Correlation ID field in PSA. If you are using Jira Cloud, enter the user's account ID in the Jira Correlation ID field in PSA. For more information, see Manually Linking an Existing PSA Resource to a Jira User.
To link a PSA project to a Jira project, enter the ID of the project from Jira in the Jira Correlation ID field in PSA. For more information, see Manually Linking an Existing PSA Project to Jira.
To link a PSA project to a Jira issue, enter the ID of the issue from Jira in the Jira Correlation ID field in PSA. For more information, see Manually Linking an Existing PSA Project to Jira.
To link a PSA project task to a Jira issue, enter the key of the issue from Jira in the Jira Correlation ID field in PSA. For more information, see Manually Linking Existing Projects Tasks and a Jira Issue.
After you link the records, future changes in PSA will be synced to Jira, if you have enabled the appropriate settings.
