To add a calculation to a plan cell using builder mode:

  1. On the Plans tab, navigate to the desired plan and plan cell.
  2. Above the plan, click inside the Formula Builder bar.
  3. Click Switch to Builder Mode.
  4. Add a function. To do this:

    1. Click Add Function. This adds a new segment to the formula.
    2. Select the function type. For more information about the available types, see Functions.
    3. Select the filters that you want to apply.

In place of using the filters, you can also populate the formula segment by clicking the cell directly in the plan table that you want to use in the formula.

    4. For the first filter that you selected, leave "=" selected to include the value that you select in the next step. Otherwise, select "!=" to exclude the value but include all other values.
    5. Select the value that is included or excluded by the filter.
    6. Repeat steps d and e for all the remaining filters that you selected.
    7. If the plan contains multiple measures, select the measure that you want to include or exclude.
  5. [Optional] Add a numeric value. To do this:

    1. Click Add Value. This adds an operator and a new segment.
    2. Select the mathematical operation that you want to perform between the two segments. For more information about the available value, see Operators Available in Formulas.
    3. Enter a numeric value.
