Upgrading to Financial Analytics Summer 2024

This page describes the changes to make when upgrading to Summer 2024.

Note:

To use a new feature or enhancement, you must upgrade your Financial Analytics app. For more information about how to upgrade apps, see Upgrading the Business Analytics App.

Enhancements to Financial Analytics Datasets

No additional upgrade steps are required to upgrade this feature to Summer 2024. The new features are automatically available when you upgrade your Financial Analytics app.

Upgrade Steps

To upgrade this feature to Summer 2024, take the following action.

If you have not done so already, we recommend that you replace your financial statement records with Report Builder reports.	About Report Builder
Review the Included in This Feature section and remove the deprecated items from any custom items that use them in your org. For example, remove the Deprecated: Financial Statements tab from any custom Lightning apps that you might have created.	See the Salesforce Help.
Remove the DEPRECATED: Financial Statements Reporting permission set from any users whom it was assigned to.	See the Salesforce Help.
[Optional] Change the label of the Financial Statements Lightning app to DEPRECATED: Financial Statements.	See the Salesforce Help.
