Viewing a Billing Forecast
To view the values generated by a billing forecast calculation:
- From the Billing Forecast Calculations tab, click the billing forecast calculation.
- On the Billing Forecast Calculation Detail view, click View Billing Forecast. The Billing Forecast page is displayed.
The Billing Forecast Summary panel shows a breakdown of the values generated by the billing forecast calculation, structured by region, practice, or group (RPG Abbreviation of region, practice, group.). You can expand and collapse the tree to view the values generated for subregions and sublevels.
To drill down and view forecasting data for the projects and opportunities recorded against a particular RPG, click the relevant RPG in the tree. The projects and opportunities recorded on the selected RPG are displayed in a separate Projects and Opportunities panel, showing the values for each forecast category, such as "Expected", or "Worst Case".
The following icons are used:

indicates an opportunity |
For projects, you can click the arrow displayed next to the project name to expand the tree and view a breakdown of the total forecast value by forecast factor. You can view values for the following forecast factors, if included in the billing forecast calculation:
- Actuals
- Scheduled: Assignments
- Scheduled: Held RRs
- Scheduled: Milestones
- Scheduled: Unheld RRs
- Unscheduled Backlog
Project forecast factors that have not been included in a billing forecast calculation are not displayed. The Actuals forecast factor includes billings and expenses so does not display if the multiplier is zero on the Billing Forecast Setup page for both Billings and Expenses.
