Permission Control Fields
Here is a description of the fields that make up a permission control Determines whether a single user has permission to carry out specific tasks in PSA. record.

Resource | M | In most cases the user and the resource A contact that works on a project. are the same person. If your organization uses external resources, and you want to set up a proxy user (a user who can enter information on behalf of a resource) to enter their timecards and expenses, this field should contain the name of the external resource. |
Start/End Date | Inclusive time period for the permissions to be applied. You can leave blank for perpetual permissions or leave one field blank for a one-sided range of perpetual permissions (for example, permissions with a defined start date and no defined end date). | |
Team | The team to which permissions apply. | |
User | * | A lookup to the name of the user being granted permissions. |

Billing | Indicates that the user has permissions to generate and release billing events belonging to a specific RPG Abbreviation of region, practice, group. or project and to edit billing related fields such as the Billed and Billing Event Item checkboxes. | |
Expense Entry | Indicates that the user has permissions to enter and edit expenses for the defined resources. | |
Expense Ops Edit | Indicates that the user has permissions to edit expenses in admin mode for the defined resources after they have been approved but before they have been billed. See About Ops Edit Permission Controls. | |
Invoicing | Indicates that the user has permissions to edit Invoicing-related fields on a project's business records such as the Invoiced checkbox, Invoice Date and Invoice Number. | |
Project Task Gantt Edit | Indicates that the selected user can use Project Task Gantt and Gantt in edit mode when the user is not the project manager of the selected project. Granting Project Task Gantt Edit permissions includes Project Task Gantt View permissions. | |
Project Task Gantt View | Indicates that the selected user can use Project Task Gantt and Gantt in read-only mode when the user is not the project manager of the selected project. | |
Project Version Compare | Indicates that the user can compare project versions. | |
Project Version Create | Indicates that the user can create project versions. | |
Project Version Delete | Indicates that the user can delete project versions. | |
Resource Request Entry | Indicates that the user has permissions to enter or edit Resource Requests for a RPG Abbreviation of region, practice, group. other than the user's own. | |
Revenue Forecast Version Adjust |
Indicates that the user has permissions to adjust revenue forecast version details for specific Regions, Practices, Groups, Projects, and Opportunities. This permission control respects Cascading Permission. |

Revenue Forecast Version View |
Indicates that the user has permissions to review revenue forecast version details for specific Regions, Practices, Groups, Projects, and Opportunities. This permission control always cascades even when Cascading Permission is deselected. |

Skills And Certifications Entry | Indicates that the user has permissions to enter skills and certifications for the defined resources. Granting Skills and Certifications Entry permissions automatically includes Skills and Certifications View permissions. | |
Skills And Certifications View | Indicates that the user has permissions to view skills and certifications for the defined resources. | |

View All Utilization |
Determines whether a user can override the security predicate on the Utilization Results dataset and view the utilization data of all the resources in PS Cloud Core Analyticsand PS Cloud Advanced Analytics.
