Project Task Board Lightning Component Fields

The Project Task Board Lightning component includes the following.

Manage Resources	Opens the Manage Resources window to manage the resources assigned to a project task.	Not applicable
Search	Searches for project tasks based on the task name. When you start typing characters from anywhere in the name, PSA searches the tasks loaded into the Project Task Board and narrows down the search results as you type.	Not applicable
	Shows details of the selected project task on the Task tab of the Record Details panel. An administrator controls the fields that are displayed on the Task tab. For more information, see Project Task Board Lightning Component Properties. Details of an assigned resource are displayed on the Resources tab of the Record Details panel. If there are multiple resources assigned to a task, you can delete the currently selected resource from the Search Contacts field on the Resources tab, click the Search Contacts field, and select another resource from the list to view their details. The default date range displayed in the Resource Schedule section of the Resources tab of the Record Details panel depends on whether you are viewing the Project Task Board from a workspace, from a project record, or from an Experience Cloud site: From a workspace, the date range is the current week beginning on the resource's work calendar start day. From a project record or an Experience Cloud site, the date range matches the project record date range, provided both a start and an end date are present. If either the start date or end date is missing, the date range is the current week beginning on the resource's work calendar start day. The following example shows a current week beginning on the work calendar start day. Today's date: Tuesday, May 7, 2024. Work calendar week start day: Sunday. Current week: Sunday, May 5, 2024 to Saturday, May 11, 2024. For more information about the sections displayed on the Resources tab of the Record Details panel, see Contact Card Lightning Component Overview. The Record Details panel stays open until you close it. To close the panel, click on the panel or click again. For more information on the Record Details panel, see Viewing Record Details. 	Filters the tasks displayed. The panel stays open until you close it. Click to open and close the panel. For details of the options available in the filter panel, see Filter Fields.	The following tasks are displayed by default: From a project record page: all project tasks on the current project, taking into account the filter options that are selected from the filter panel. From an app page, such as workspace, all project tasks a user owns or is assigned to, and any other project tasks on projects the user manages, taking into account options selected from the filter panel. 	Expands the Project Task Board to full view. Click to return it to its original size.	Not applicable

Actual Coast		The actual cost of the resource for the project task.
Allocation Hours		The hours allocated to the resource for the project task.
Allocation Percentage		The allocation percentage allocated to the resource for the project task.
Assignment		A list of the assignments available to link project task assignments for that resource.
End Date		The end date for the project task.
Estimated Cost		The total estimated cost of the resource for the project task.
Resource Name		The resource name to be assigned to the project task.
Resource Role		The role to which the resource is being assigned.
Start Date		The start date for the project task.
Worked Hours		The total hours logged against that specific project task through time for the resource.

Filter Fields

The Project Task Board Lightning component includes the following fields in the filter panel.

Fields in the Filter Panel on the Project Task Board
Field	Description	Default
Start Date End Date	The date range for tasks on the Project Task Board: A maximum of 1,000 tasks whose start or end date overlaps with the selected date range are displayed. The project tasks in each column are sorted by start date. Tasks without a start date or an end date are placed last. Tasks with no start date and no end date are omitted if you are filtering by start date or end date. If multiple records have the same start date and time, PSA sorts them using the Order field. When viewing the Project Task Board from an app page, if you have deleted the start date from the filter panel, all tasks with a start date before the specified end date are displayed. If you have deleted the end date, all tasks with an end date after the specified start date are displayed.	On a project record page: no date range. On an app page, such as a workspace: the date range is one month either side of today’s date.
Task Involvement	Project tasks you are assigned to, that you own, and you manage and all tasks on the projects the Product Manager manages are displayed.	On a project record page: selected. On an app page, such as a workspace: selected.
Task Timeline	The task due timeline for tasks on the Project Task Board.	On a project record page: no timelines selected. On an app page, such as a workspace: no timelines selected.
