Project Gantt Lightning Component Properties

This table lists the fields available in the Properties panel of the Lightning App Builder for the Project Gantt Lightning component.

Field Description Default Value
Record ID Only applies to Experience Cloud sites.
The ID of the record to display in the component. This property supports using an expression. The default expression ensures the correct record detail page is displayed automatically, provided you have placed this component on an object page. If you have placed the component on another type of page, you must enter the record ID for the relevant project record.		 {!recordId}
Pixel Height The component height in pixels. You can enter a value from 100 to 10,000 pixels. 400 pixels
Label The title that is displayed on the component. Gantt
Allow Export If selected, Export is displayed in the toolbar. For more information on exporting data from Gantt on a project record to Microsoft Project, see Exporting Data to Microsoft Project. Selected
Show Comparisons If selected, Comparisons is displayed in the toolbar. For more information, see Viewing Project Status and Performance. Selected
Show Critical Path If selected, Critical Path is displayed in the toolbar. For more information, see Viewing the Critical Path. Selected
Show Over Allocation If selected, Over Allocation is displayed in the toolbar. For more information, see Identifying Over Allocated Resources.
Note:

If users do not have the required permissions, the Over Allocation button is not displayed. For more information, see Permissions for the Project Gantt Lightning Component.

Custom Columns Field Set

The field set on the Project Task object that contains the custom fields to display as columns on the component.

Note:

The Owner and Work Calendar fields are not supported.

You can use an existing field set or create a new one. For more information, see Project Task Field Sets and Project Task Assignment Field Sets.

If None is selected, or a selected field set does not contain any valid fields, the Name and Assigned Resources columns are still displayed.

Task Details Custom Fields Field Set

The field set on the Project Task object that contains the custom fields you want to display on the Task tab of the Record Details panel. Ensure users viewing the Gantt chart have permission to view these fields.

If "None" is selected or the selected field set contains no valid fields, the following fields are displayed by default: Start Date and Time, End Date and Time, Estimated Hours, Actual Hours, Milestone, Assigned Resources (Long), WBSClosed Work Breakdown Structure Element Number.
