Project Source Fields

Here is a description of the fields on a project source record.

Field Description
Action

The action performed in the project. The following actions are available:

  • Add Records from Template
  • Add Project Tasks from Template
  • Add Resource Requests from Template
  • Add Milestones from Template
  • Add Assignments from Template
  • Create Project
  • Create Project From Estimate - This option is for future use in Services Estimator
Project The project that the source project was added to.
Project Source Name The project source record identifier. The format is PS followed by a generated number.
Source The source project that was used by the project.
Source Estimate The estimate that the project was created from.
Source Estimate Product Instance The estimate product instance associated with this project source. Multiple project source records will be created if a project is created from multiple estimate product instances.
Status The status of the records copied from the template to the project. This field displays a message when the records are copied successfully or partially.
