Rate Card Fields
Field   Description
Resource Role   Resource role for this rate card, such as consultant or project manager.
Suggested Bill Rate * Default bill rate for the resourceClosed A contact that works on a project. role. If the rate card has dated resource bill rates, this field is set to 0.00.
Average Cost Rate * Default cost rate for the resource role.
(Beta) Dated Resource Rate Type  

Identifies the type of dated resource rate (if any). The options are:

  • None - the suggested bill rate applies.
  • Bill Rate - the related dated resource bill rates apply.
  • Cost Rate - reserved for future use.
(Beta) Dated Resource Rate Count   The number of dated resource rates on the rate card. This field is for internal use.
Currency * Default currency for the rate card.

Cascading Role   Indicates whether to apply the rate card to all child entities.
Start Date  

The date the rate card will take effect.

This field must be blank if Dated Resource Rate Type is "Bill Rate" or "Cost Rate".

End Date  

The date after which the rate card is not applied.
If you enter an end date, you must also enter a start date. If there is a start date and no end date, the rate card will be applied.

This field must be blank if Dated Resource Rate Type is "Bill Rate" or "Cost Rate".
