Matching Resources in Resource Request Staffer

If there are matched resource requests displayed on the Matched tab, the Matched tab opens automatically. For more information, see Matched Tab.

Note:

If you match resources to resource requests when there are matched resource requests displayed on the Matched tab, the resource requests will have their matched resources cleared. Consequently, the resource requests will be moved to the Unmatched tab.

To match resources in Resource Request Staffer:

  1. Go to the Resource Request Staffer tab.
  2. [Optional] From the Unmatched tab, click Open the Filters panel to open the Filters panel and complete the following steps:
    1. Select a start date. By default, the From date is today's date. Leave the To field blank to include all resource requests that have a start date in the future.
    2. [Optional] Complete any remaining fields. For more information, see Resource Request Staffer Fields.
    3. Click Close the Filters panel to close the Filters panel.
  3. Click Open the Settings panel to open the Settings panel and define the order in which resource requests are matched and the weightings of the matching criteria.
  4. Click Close the Settings panel to close the Settings panel.
  5. Select the resource requests that you want to match resources to. You can select a maximum of 1,000 resource requests.
  6. Click Match Resources.
  7. [Optional] From the Matched tab, click the name of the matched resource in the Matched Resource column to view the resource's details.

The matched resource requests are removed from the Unmatched tab and displayed on the Matched tab. The resource requests that are not matched remain in the Unmatched tab.

While resources are being matched, all actions are disabled. You can continue working on another page. You are notified when the process is complete. If any errors occurred, the notification and email will contain a link to an app log, which you can give to your administrator to help them investigate the issue.

Clearing Matched Resources

You can clear resources matched to resource requests. To do so:

  1. From the Matched tab, select the resource requests that you want to clear matched resources from.
  2. Click Clear Selected. Cleared resource requests are removed from the Matched tab and displayed on the Unmatched tab if they match the filter criteria.
