New Features and Enhancements in PS Cloud Core Analytics Spring 2025
The following new features have been introduced in the Spring 2025 release of PS Cloud Core Analytics.
If you are upgrading from a previous version, see Upgrading to PS Cloud Core Analytics Spring 2025. This provides a summary of the items that have been added for each feature and details of any required upgrade steps.
(Beta) Introducing the Services Forecast Datasets for Analytics
We've introduced the Services Forecast Reporting dataset, which combines data from the Services Forecast Live and Services Forecast Plans datasets created in PSA. It also stores all plan data that has been sent to Analytics from WorkGrid. This enables services leaders to more easily analyze the services business by comparing snapshots of baseline forecasts with actual data and updates to forecasted projects.

Enhancements to Data Security
We've introduced additional security and some additional fields to the Resource Skills dataset. From the PS Cloud Analytics Setup record, you can now select Resource Skills View Restriction to restrict access to skills information, allowing users to view only their own skills, and user managers to view only their own skills and the skills of the resources below them in their respective management hierarchy.

Enhanced Skill Suggestions for Resource Requests
As part of the enhancements to skill suggestions for resource requests, we have added two new fields to the Resourcing Adjacencies dataset. These fields help you identify whether skills relate to past assignments or to resources attributes, and enable more detailed filtering on the region, practice, group, and role to retrieve skills for.
Additionally, we have updated the API names of the existing output fields on the Resourcing Adjacencies dataset.
For more information, see Resourcing Adjacencies Dataset PS Cloud Analytics Output Fields.

Billed and Unbilled Revenue Recognized Records by Project Name
We’ve added the Billed and Unbilled Revenue Recognized Records by Project Name lens to the Project Reporting dataset. This enables you to identify the billed and unbilled revenue of projects associated with a GLA, and calculate the adjustment amount required to balance your deferred and accrued GLAs at month end.
We have also added the following new PSA fields for use in the PS Cloud Core AnalyticsCloud Core Analytics App PSA Analytics Dataflow. The purpose of the fields is to replace the original currency fields to avoid unnecessary conversions in the internal calculations of the dataflow.
- Duplicate Milestone Amount in the Milestone object
- Duplicate Total Billable Amount in the Timecard Split object
- Duplicate Amount in the Miscellaneous Adjustment object
