Generating PSA Resource AI Summaries

Resource AI summaries enable you to leverage the power of Certinia AI by generating summaries of resources that include their recent project experience and the key skills they used while working on those projects. Providing only the relevant information reduces the time you spend manually evaluating your resources and provides a clear description of the resource that other stakeholders can review.

To generate AI summaries for resources, you must:

• Use resource requests to allocate work
• Use resource skill requests to request skills on resource requests
• Create, and regularly update, skill or certification records for resources

You can configure the prompt used to generate resource summaries by managing the parameters that determine the specific fields and related list records that are referenced by the summary. For more information, see Configuring the PSA Resource Summary Configuration.

A summary is generated if a resource has previously been assigned to at least one resource request.

To generate a new resource summary:

1. From the Resourcing tab of the resource request record, in the Matched Resources grid, select the resource you want to view a summary for.
2. Click . The Resource Details panel opens.
3. Click Generate New.

4. [Optional] To view a summary for a different resource:

   1. If necessary, close the current summary.
   2. In the Matched Resources grid, deselect the current resource.
   3. Select a new resource.
   4. Click Generate New.
