Matching Resources in Resource Request Staffer

To match resources in Resource Request Staffer:

  1. Go to the Resource Request Staffer. If there are already matched resource requests on the Match Results tab, that tab opens automatically.
  2. Go to the Open Requests tab if it is not already open.
  3. [Optional] From the Open Requests tab, click Open the Filters panel to open the Filters panel where you can apply criteria to filter the resource requests displayed in the grid. Any resource requests that do not match all the filter criteria are removed from the grid and deselected. For more information, see Filters Panel.
  4. [Optional] Click Open the Settings panel to open the Settings panel where you can define the priorities and weightings used to match resources to resource requests. For more information, see How Resources are Matched in Resource Request Staffer.
  5. [Optional] Reorder the resource requests by dragging and dropping them using . Resource requests are processed in the order in which they are listed.
  6. Select the resource requests that you want to match resources to. You can select a maximum of 2,000 resource requests.

    Tip:

    Click Show Selected in the grid's toolbar to display only the selected resource requests. To display all the resource requests that match the filter criteria again, click Show All.

    You can group resource requests and select the group's checkbox to select all of the resource requests within the group. This will override any manually reordered resource requests.

  7. Click Match Resources.

    Note:

    If you click Match Resources when there are resource requests on the Match Results tab, the resources matched to those resource requests are cleared and become available for the resource requests currently being matched. The resource requests that were on the Match Results tab are displayed on the Open Requests tab if they match the filter criteria.

While resources are being matched, all actions in Resource Request Staffer are disabled. You can continue working on another page.

You are notified when the process is complete. If any errors occur, the notification and email include a link to an app log which contains further information.

The matched resource requests are removed from the Open Requests tab and displayed on the Match Results tab. You can view a matched resource's details by clicking the name of the matched resource on the Match Results tab. Any resource requests that were not matched remain on the Open Requests tab.

Clearing Matched Resources

If you want to clear matched resources from resource requests:

  1. From the Match Results tab, select the resource requests that have the matched resources you want to clear.
  2. Click Clear Selected.

The resource requests are removed from the Match Results tab and displayed on the Open Requests tab if they match the filter criteria.
