Adding Columns to the Gantt Task Grid

There are default columns displayed in the Gantt task grid, but you can add other columns that use both standard and custom fields.

Note:

We're retiring the Gantt page, and Project Task Gantt, and they'll be deactivated in a future release, no sooner than Spring 2027. We'll continue to support the Gantt page and Project Task Gantt until deactivation, but recommend that you start using Gantt on a project record. Work with your administrator to start using Gantt on a project record.

To define and display additional columns, add fields to these field sets on the Project Task object:

Note:

These settings are at org level. When you add or remove fields from the field sets, any changes that users have made to the order, size and visibility of their columns in the task grid are discarded.
