Adding Sub-Related Lists in the AI Prompt Configuration Builder

A sub-related list defines the exact grandchild records that must be pulled into the prompt context. The AI Prompt Configuration Builder enables you to add sub-related list criteria to enhance the output summary.

Note:
  • Certain objects are not supported to maintain the overall integrity of your AI generated summary. For more information see the Salesforce Help.
  • Filters in this section support complex attribute-based logic, enabling you to combine multiple conditions to precisely control which grandchild records are pulled into the prompt context. For example, you can filter sub-related list records to only include projects where type equals "Delivery" or "Bespoke", and Rating is greater than or equal to 3, all configured directly in the UI.

To add a sub-related list:

  1. In a related list data section, click  | Add Sub-Related List. The Add Sub-Related List window opens.
  2. [Optional] Enter a name for the sub-related list. This name displays in the list when you edit or delete sub-related lists.
  3. Select the related list that you want to use as a sub-related list.
  4. [Optional] Enter a description for the sub-related list.
  5. Click Next.
  6. Click Add Field and select a field from the list.
  7. [Optional] To add more fields, click Add Field again.
  8. Click Next.
  9. [Optional] Click Add Filter to select the filters you want to apply to the related list records. For more information, see Adding Filters to Related List Fields in the AI Prompt Configuration Builder.
  10. Click Next.
  11. [Optional] In the Record Limit field, enter the number of records that you want to display in the summary.
  12. [Optional] Click Add Order to add ordering for the records. For more information, see Limiting and Ordering Records Displayed in AI Summaries.
  13. Click Add. This adds the sub-related list.

  14. Click Save to save the configuration.

  15. If you are directly customizing the default configuration, click Save As to clone the configuration and then click Save on the AI Prompt Configuration Builder page.

To manage the added fields, click Manage Fields next to the Fields section under the sub-related list. For more information on managing fields, see Customizing Related List Fields in the AI Prompt Configuration Builder.
