New Features and Enhancements in AI Core Summer 2026

The following new features have been introduced in the Summer 2026 release of AI Core.

If you are upgrading from a previous version, see Upgrading to AI Core Summer 2026. This provides a summary of the items that have been added for each feature and details of any required upgrade steps.

Use Sub-Related Lists in the AI Prompt Configuration Builder

The AI Prompt Configuration Builder now supports sub-related lists, which enable you to drill down into nested data to improve the accuracy and depth of AI-generated summaries. Previously, only top-level related list data could be included in a prompt configuration.

You can now:

  • Add sub-related list criteria to a related list data section by selecting the related list, specifying fields, and optionally applying filters, record limits, and ordering
  • Edit an existing sub-related list to update its name, description, related list, fields, filters, or limit and ordering
  • Delete one or more sub-related lists from a related list data section

Finally, each Fields, Filters, and Limit and Ordering section for each related list now appears with its section title on the main page. You can make updates quickly by using the Edit button or Delete button to modify or remove Filters or Limit and Ordering sections directly from the main page. We have also added the Manage Fields button to manage the Fields section associated with a related list.
