Using the Skills Matrix

We've deactivated the Skills Matrix Visualforce page and it can't be used anymore. We no longer support this page and it'll be removed in a future release. To manage skills and certifications for resources, work with your administrator to start using the Skills and Certifications Workspace. For more information, see Skills and Certifications Workspace Overview and Deprecated Elements.

You can use the Skills Matrix page to view existing skills and certifications your resources have by name. You can edit skills and certifications against resources. You cannot add new skills and certifications using this page.

Note:

Category records in your skills hierarchy do not display on this page.

To use the Skills Matrix page:

1. Click the Skills Matrix tab.
2. If you want to view the skills and certifications for a resource other than yourself, select Other, and then click the name of the resource that you want to view the skills and certifications for.
3. To edit a skill or certification, click Edit.
4. Edit the ratings as appropriate.
5. Modify the evaluation and expiration dates.
6. Click Save.
