New Features and Enhancements in PSA AI Agent Service Summer 2026

The following new features have been introduced in the Summer 2026 release of PSA AI Agent Service.

Enhance Certinia Project Assistant Agent

We've enhanced Certinia Project Assistant Agent by adding the following:

  • The Query Project Tasks for Specified Records action under the Project Tasks Analysis topic. This action enables you to query the tasks from a project, milestone, or parent task directly and monitor the status of the tasks that need your attention. It highlights the tasks that are at risk of impacting a project's, milestone's, or a parent task's timeline.
  • The Query Assignments for Specified Records action under the Assignment Analysis topic. This action enables you to retrieve the assignments for a project, resource, or specific assignments, optionally within a date period, so that you can quickly see who is working on a project, what a resource is working on, and which assignments recently ended.
  • The Analyze Assignment Hours Variance action under the Assignment Analysis topic. This action identifies assignments that are high-variance or low-variance by comparing the actual hours worked against the resource's capacity, and predicts the hours variance, a suggested hours adjustment, and the impact on cost and revenue. This analysis uses live estimates versus actuals data and does not require a CRM Analytics license.

Analyze Impact Using Certinia Project Assistant Agent

We've enhanced Certinia Project Assistant Agent by adding the Impact Analysis functionality to the new Query Project Tasks for Specified Records action. Previously, project managers could analyze the impact on a project only through Gantt. Now you can use the agent to ask about the over allocated resources and identify tasks that have over allocated resources.

Utilize Project GenAI Summaries in Agents and the Certinia Project Assistant Agent

You can now generate AI-powered project summaries from anywhere in Salesforce, rather than only from the project record, so that you can stay up to date on your projects at any time. The PSA AI Agent Service provides two invocable actions, Generate Project Summary and Get Available Project Summaries, that you can add to your own Agentforce agents and to Salesforce flows.

You can also request project summaries directly from the Certinia Project Assistant Agent, which now includes a Project Summarization topic. You can produce each summary in the output format that best suits how you want to process it, including HTML, JSON, Markdown, and text.
